I have redesigned and overhauled the “Uilleann Pipes Obsession Page” and got it a URL of its own too. After a couple of weeks of copying and pasting, making graphics, testing and trying to figure out what navigation would work the best I am pretty happy with what I have finally come up with… I hope you lot like it too!
One minor problem I had when taking a quick stroll, the News link doesn’t overwrite the Home page in the main body frame. Maybe that was intentional (?). Instead there is a second link to the actual news archive (yes, I do read this stuff).
Otherwise, everything looks great and well organized. Looking forward to many more happy hours puttering through all this good info.
Mmmm…nice schtuff, Pat.
Takes a bit longer for the first page to kick in. Must be that gun metal blue color, which is cool. There’s still a link to a “Tomas Standeven Tribite Page.” Sounds like some kind of a prehistoric sea creature. The diary section isin’t happening. Come on, Pat! We want to know all the sordid details! “Dear diary…well, you’ll never believe whose practice set arrived!” Where’d all the other groovy photos go, too? Is that still in the works?
Patrick, great new site! I hope you will add back all the pictures. I used to enjoy getting lost in those. Remember your old Messageboard when it got invaded by Chinese marketeers?
What page is the Tom Standevan link Kevo? I’ll get that puppy right offa there
The Diary section is what was the Photos section… PAGE5A to PAGE5L … this one makes a bit more sense… sorting it by year…
The download time will speed up also once you have loaded the page once, then the images are cached and everything will be hunkydorey
Now.. I’m away home to get scuthered and have some Mexican grub … and it’s not even talk like a pirate day… people here at work keep telling me that talk like a pirate day is over… I can’t help it, I’m fecking Irish … YARRR!
That is actually a link to an external site. I have sent the webmaster an email about it so we’ll se what’s up at some point. It’s not actually working for me either???
I have both Java and Javascript enabled, but I get a little box above the Yahoo ad that says undefined when I use Netscape 7.1, and in IE I get error messages across the bottom. Nice idea, but it needs a bit of work.
