Has anyone had trouble trying to join NPU using a VISA card?
I have this friend who has tried repeatedly. And with different browsers.
I have contact NPU about this.

I tried purchasing Joe Finn’s new CD today and it froze up on me. I wrote to NPU also, but have not received a reply yet.

I just renewed membership without a problem. Still getting the ‘attack site’ warnings though.
My guess (tho it’s only a guess) is that some bot signed up to the Forum and posted a toxic link or similar. That’s how most 3rd-party malware gets injected into valid sites. If that’s the case, it seems to have been fixed, since the newest post pre-dates the date of the problem as previously reported by Google.
Note that the newest registered user (SedeForeFooky) has a website pointing to a discount pharmacy site… :roll: The list of recently subscribed users is pretty bogus-looking (http://pipers.ie/phpBB2/memberlist.php?mode=joined&order=ASC&start=29350), so it seems to me that some sort of anti-spam measures need to be taken to restrict signup.

I figured as much and was not overly worried. We get a lot of bots signing up at another forum but only allow posts after admin has validated new members.
I received a note from NPU that the purchasing problem has been cleared. It didn’t work for me in Firefox this morning, but I was able to proceed using IE.

I didn’t have a problem using firefox, you do need to allow all javascripts on the page to get though it.
