Hi all.
I am looking to trade my Hawkes & Son cocuswood flute for a Bb. It is in pristine condition, recently re-padded with leather pads, no cracks, etc. I bought it from Patrick Olwell about two years ago. It has been played regularly, and well cared for. This is a large holed flute (Pratten) and is loud and a ‘honker.’
I believe it was made in the late 1880s. I have another Pratten which I adore, and an R&R, and I just can’t find the time to keep them all played as much as they should be..
