Two flutes: FS/FS and/or Trade

I can’t believe it has come to this, but a prolonged debt has forced me to take drastic action! I am putting up for sale my original Hudson Pratten, #221, cocuswood flute. I purchased it several years ago from David Migoya. Jon C. replaced a barrel socket last year which he claims should last another one hundred years. Otherwise, the flute is in excellent shape. It is a powerful flute, a honker, also subtle. Low notes play well softly as when push to the extreme, which appears endless…

The other flute is a six key Ormiston Bb which I purchased a while ago from a C&F board member. It is a lovely flute. I would actually really like to trade this flute for a keyless Bb with and adjustment of cash for the difference. That would be my preference, though I could part with it as well. Please email me and I can answer questions about price, and specifics about the flutes, and also send photos and sound clips.

sorry to hear you have to part with that flute.
it’s a dandy.

We’ll see David… May not be so bad… always have the Firth. Pond & Co. to throw in the mix.
