Hi guys.
I have a student model Boehm flute that I haven’t been playing for a year. I’m not into the Boehm flute at all. I’ve had it up for sale, but last time I missed the sale because a lady who was going to buy it changed her mind, and since then I haven’t bothered to advertised it. Since I’ve wanted to try out a few new Irish flutes, but don’t have the money right now, and probably won’t for a while, I thought I’d ask if anyone want to trade me for it.
The flute is in the $6-700 range, in as-new condition. It’s a Yamaha YFL211. It was recomended by my then classical flute teacher as the best student flute in the price range, and I haven’t had any reason to dispute that.
Looking to trade clean off for something interesting in roughly the same price range. I’d be interested in any well known maker, delrin or wood doesn’t matter. Since I play very little solo these days, I would prefer a flute with a tuning slide.
I’ve been meaning to give Seery a good go for some time, so if anyone has a keyless Seery I’d be interested in a trade, even though the delrin Seery is a little bit below the price range, that doesn’t matter. Or give me an offer on any other maker.
I could just sell the flute and use the money to buy a new Irish flute, but chances are I would spend the money on something more “important”, I have lots of expences right now. This would be a great way for me to aquire a nice new flute while not spending any money on it.
Shoot me an offer.
Cheers
