I recently spoke with Skip Healy about his upcoming “Wind on the Bay” gathering October 1-3, 2004.
He told me that besides giving flute classes, John Skelton will also be offer a tin whistle class!
I was at Wnd on the Bay last year, and the entire weekend was amazing! the classes and instructors were fantastic, but to to able to sit in a session with them and the other attendees and talk with them one on one was beyond description! I learned so much in a few short days! Hearing John play a few tunes on whisle last year, and knowing his teaching approach, I can tell you that it is certainly NOT something to miss!

I’m not sure if the class descriptions are up yet, but you can sign up just for one class (3 hours long; $125.00 ) or you can sign up for the whole weekend.
Personally, if you can - go for the whole weekend, as there will be lots to do and hear all weekend long.
