East Coast Flute Symposium Schedule & Links - Oct. 4-6, 2002

Greetings everyone,

Pardon the cross-post, but I've got news regarding Wind On the Bay East Coast Flute Symposium on October 4-6 in East Greenwich, RI. The 2002 Wind On The Bay will feature Skip Healy (teaching flute and fife), John Skelton (teaching flute and bombarde), and Jim Clark (teaching percussion and music theory).

We've solidified the event schedule to include classes, social events, concerts, and panel discussions.

We've also tied down who will teach what and when. Full class descriptions can be found here:

And we've got an easy new registration form available online or in pdf format:

I also want to let everyone know that Wind On The Bay has now been joined by Irish Music Magazine (http://mag.irish-music.net) as the event's associate sponsor. We'd like to thank IMM for stepping forward to help support this event.

So, feel free to swing by for a visit to our main page at:

In addition to everything I've listed, there's other important information to be accessed there.

If you need more info, email Skip Healy (event host and primary organizer) at or call 401-885-2502.

I hope you're all doing great.

Take care,
John Harvey

Looks like great fun! Don’t know that I’ll be able to make it, but it sounds like a blast.
