Hi Everyone,
I’d just like to take a moment of your time to try to lure you to beautiful East Greenwich, RI, this coming fall. Do you like fall foliage, Irish tunes, an adult beverage, Irish tunes, stuffies (what the heck is a stuffie?..come and find out), and oh yeah, Irish tunes?
We’re a few months out from my third annual Wind On The Bay wooden flute festival on October 1-3. This year’s staff has both returning and new instructors: John Skelton (for the third year), Andra Bohnet (her second year), and we’re pleased and thrilled to have June McCormack joining us this year for her first WOTB. And, of course, I’ll be teaching and running around like a madman all at the same time. Please feel free to visit our website at: http://www.windonthebay.com
Right now, we also would like to announce our new discussion forums on Windonthebay.com. We’ve had several requests from past and potential attendees for a place where they can ask questions, share experiences, and coordinate hotels, roommates, car rental information, and other such details. Just visit our homepage and click the ‘Forums’ link.
At this time we’ve also opened registration for WOTB 2004. Once registered, we’ll also ask you register for specific classes at a later date.
SPECIAL OFFER!
From Monday, June 7 to Wednesday, July 7, if you register to attend Wind On The Bay 2004, we’ll give you either a FREE copy of our new “Have Ye This One?” CD & music book tutorial, or $50 in credit against any purchase at the Healy Flute Company. SPECIAL NOTE: This offer is only good for the first 10 registrants taking advantage of this offer!
I hope everyone has a great summer. We’ll have clamcakes’n’chowdah waitin’ for ya! “Cheete? choo?” (More Rhode Islandisms…you’ll have to come here for the decoder ring).
All the best,
Skip Healy
