Howard High C and D. Does anybody know?

Howard low C and D whistles seem to just make it into the high-end bracket but they don’t get talked about much here. I have a low C which I like and I’m a bit surprised they don’t get more attention. They have undergone improvements lately so maybe people are still thinking of earlier models.

That’s not what I want to raise though. Howard make high C and D whistles that are much more expensive than, say, Overtons. I believe they’re an attempt to make something like a very old-style Clarke but with all the attention to detail we expect in a high-end, hand-made, whistle. Has anybody here seen and played one and, if so, what do you think of it?

Thanks Stevie. I might have guessed. Some funny remarks there. Even though they’re imported into Australia, Sindts and Burkes, which aren’t, are cheaper. Grinters are comparable in price. My money will keep going to the people it’s currently going to I think.
