has anyone had the experience that when you go into your hotmail account and click an item in your in box to read it nothing happens?
It could be one of many things of course. what was your experience?

Hotmail?
I gladly recommend Gmail, especially as it now includes SSL security.
Better yet, it’s free as a download.
Yeah, Hotmail’s been pretty unpleasant, here lately.
It’s been slow lately, and lots of times when I click on a message I get a little yellow box saying “working on your request.”
Wow I didn’t know hotmail still existed…
tell me about it if you can.
thanks.
If I click on the select all box it often registers for that box, but does not register for all the posts. If I click on an action it may give the yellow box, as described above, and not actually do anything, requiring me to click again.
I think it may be safe to say that Hotmail will soon go the way of the dinosaur… like most things in computer technology today.
I think MicroSoft got carried away trying to improve it.
CHAPTER 2.
There’s a new look hotmail now.
Any experiences?
Still prefer gmail.
Yup… been having problems with it lately.
its just that my hotmail accounts have some of the most deliciously beautiful emails in them. I could never bring myself to closing an account.
(Archiving on disc? Arrghh! I am retired now).

Good: The delete button stays put so you can delete a long message without having to scroll clear back to the top.
For a while just before they changed, pictures were not showing up in the body of the message. Now they are.
So-so: Hotmail said it would be faster with this new system. It’s not noticeably faster.
Bad: Can’t view the whole message without either scrolling to the right and then grabbing the Hotmail scrollbar on the side to move up and down, or changing the screen resolution to something smaller, which is hard on these old eyes.
The contact list that used to be on the side is gone. You have to start typing in the name of who you want to send a message to, and then the list pops up. I liked the old way.
