Anybody else having problems with Hotmail lately? I can recieve but can’t send, and when I click on the link that pops up to report the problem to Microsoft even that doesn’t work. I thought it was just my computer at home but I just tried it from work and it won’t send.
I did go to their feedback page and left a message there. It’s a pain to have to open another tab and another e-mail account and write from there.
I’d suggest ditching Hotmail altogether, and going with Gmail, by Google.
Gmail works reliably well, year after year.
It’s working now. I found a site where lots of people were letting Microsoft know there was a problem. And I’ve had Hotmail since I first accessed the Internet back in the 1990’s, and I really don’t want to change unless they do away with it altogether. Most of the time it works for what I want it to do. Both companies are cutting jobs to try to save money so who knows what we’ll have to choose from this time next year.
UK hotmail seems to be working as well as it ever did. It’s not wonderful, and still has some irritating bugs, such as getting your Unread count wrong.
I have a few email accounts. Not gmail, though. Maybe I will get one sometime.
