Met Gavin once when he was in Sweden together with a few other folk musicians from different countries. Pretty good show.
Gavin is one of my favourites, have seen him once and he was brilliant. His cd is IMO one of the best whistle albums. The new one must be a cracker too, do you Peter have any idea where I could order one?
If Custy’s doesn’t have it I suppose www.gavinwhelan.ie should do it eventually.
The launches are on sunday afternoon, I’ll have all the dirt by then. Some nice stuff, the Junior Crehan book and CD, a new one by Breda Keville (fiddle) and others as well
