FS: blackwood 3-key D Flute made by Paddy Ward (SOLD)

Hi there folks,
I have for sale my 3-key blackwood flute by Paddy Ward. It’s in great shape. Selling because I’ve come into another flute and don’t collect flutes.

I have put details and pics up on my website at this page-
http://iflute.weebly.com/irishflutesale.html

$1400, buyer pays shipping and insurance. When new, this model prices between $1600-$2100 with waiting period. This also includes a hard case and a tin of Paddy Ward slide grease.

Best way to contact me is through the contact form on that page. If you pm me I may not see it as quickly - but I will see it! - Cheers, Lesl

I’m going to try and link to a photo - hurray! it worked!

I’ve updated the web page, more text and photos.

As for trying the flute - I’ve put some info in the For Sale post here-

Let me know ahead of time if you want to try this flute on Sat. evening May 9th at the Comhaltas event in Parsippany NJ. Thanks!

Ward flutes are great flutes and this is a killer deal. Surprised it hasn’t gone already. I have two keyless Hawkes models from him (one in blackwood that I got first from a forum member, and one in Delrin that I got afterwards for a travel flute). These flutes measure up in build quality, volume and tone to any other modern maker’s flutes I’ve played. The middle section joint is a nice one for those of us who like that fine adjustment, and the bore and tonehole size comparable to large hole Rudals or Pratten models. I’m sure once it gets auditioned it will go quickly.

Thank you Latticino, this is true.

I’ve just listed this flute on nj.com and done some rewording of my info page for it at
http://iflute.weebly.com/irishflutesale.html

This flute has now been sold. Thanks!
