Hawkes model keyless D flute in Delrin made by Paddy Ward. I bought this from Doc Jones late last winter as a travel flute. It’s much more than that–sounds and plays as good as any flute in its price range. And it’s darn near indestructible.
Paddy takes as much care on his Delrin flutes as on his blackwoods–impeccably finished tone holes, silver rings, tuning slide, corked tenons. Seery and M&E are nice flutes, but the Ward’s really are in another class.
I’m selling it to help fund a keyed flute.
