elfsong low d

I got an email from Sandy Jasper last night. She is now making Elfsong low D’s, copper for $150 and brass for $180. I don’t have the money to get one right now, but I think I see one in your future, Norcalmusician!

i never bought an elfsong whistle, but what I’ve heard so far is that it’s just of the very best tooters. I’m a sucker for low whistles, I think I feel whoa coming on…no, I know I feel it coming…must have low elfsong..

I got an Elfsong low D for Christmas “Elfsong Low D #1” hot off the buffer.
I love the low magestic sound it makes.

Okay, I did not need this right now… the worst is when you have the money for it, and the urge, but no way of justifying the new purchase, (and I’ve got a brand new birds eye maple busman that I’m getting to know)
Must resist the call of the elfsong!

resistance is futile, you know it.

Well sure, but that’s not a LOW D!

Okay, Im on the waiting list for an elfsong Low D (darn you blackhawk  ) so I’ve got about 8 to 10 weeks to get used to my busman…
This will actually be my first Low D whistle

  Good for you, Switchfoot! Let us know how it sounds when you get it.

brass or copper???
which one should I get???
can anyone help?
cheers!

Just pretend you are the government. Then pretend your buying it to give to a wealthy friend, because giving it to him will somehow help a poor friend. (as if you had a poor friend) Now you can buy two of them. Completly guilt free.

I am not so sure about that. I just spent about $2300 on a new camera system!!! :boggle: Maybe once I get the Howard, Kerry, Jubilee, Bleazey, Overton, Weston, Hoover, Shaw (did I miss any  ) evaluated I may sell or trade for one. Who knows though! Those are some mighty fine paint jobs for sure.

Hey Switch, need a poor friend? (see my previous post.)

from my e discussion with Sandy: “Personally I think the Copper sound much better though the brass is lighter in weight.”
I went with copper (Im really pumped, I can handle the weight)

Amar, what color are you going with?
(Starry Night for me, I just hope it doesnt come out to ostentatious)

Starry Night’s not ostentatious at all…I have a Starry Night C tube, and it’s very lovely and subtle.

Redwolf

Hmmm, that is true, but its the fact that a low d is going to be about 20 to 24 inches of the color that worries me  I’m sure it will look great though, and sound even better… Its going to be a long 8 to 10 weeks

Emerald Gold (dark metallic green with veins of
gold marble)

…and I’m going for copper!
