Chieftains Performing in Tweeds Head

Hi Everyone

I’ve been thinking about going to the Chieftains consert in Tweed Heads (twin cities) on the 3rd of November. However I can’t access their site to book the tickets. I go to http://www.irish.com and click on Enter Site, but it doesn’t load. I could access it before but not any more. If you can access the site after you’ve clicked on enter site. Could you provide the link. Just note that I’ve got Macromedia installed .

Thanks L42B

NB
If anyone could give me the contact details of the Collengatta-Tweed Heads Entertainment Center booking agency that would be even better.

Disable your pop-up blocker or enable javascript… that should fix things.

Tour dates aren’t updated though.

Luke,

Here’s the website for Twin Towns Services Club

http://www.twintowns.com.au/twintowns/twintowns.htm

Phone: 1 800 014 014

They’re on: Nov 3 & 4, 2004.

Cheers

Hi Jimbo

I’ll take a note of the address. Can you buy tickets online?

L42B

Luke,

I’d suggest that you ring the Club on that number and ask them.

The website states that tickets went on sale on August 1, “for members”.

They probably give first preference to their own.

Cheers

J

PS. It’s a toll-free number, so it’s even easier than checking the site.

PSS. Be thankful that the price is only $49 / ticket, compared to double that for us poor unfortunates down here in Sydney.

Someone should take note of how Mr. Moloney’s new Gallagher set sounds - I’d be very interested to hear about whatever feedback he’s been getting. Are they to record again soon? I know he was most pleased with that purchase…

When Paddy was in town last January I had a chance to spend some time with him and to hear his new Gallagher stick against his older Rowsome set. Both sounded fairly similar to my ear, though the Rowsome was a bit warmer in tone. Very likely all in the reed, but hard to tell for certain. All in all, he still seemed very well pleased with the Gallagher set. He was banging away on the regs full bore at the concert too. Brilliant stuff!
