Enoch Train ( http://enochtrain.xelent.com/ ) is a Salt Lake City Based folk music band. I subscribe to their newsletter in the hopes that they will come to my neck of the woods to do a concert. ( All you Bay Area Chiffers need to subscribe so they will have more incentive to do so!!! )

The Chieftains will be doing a radio interview the day of their concert January 23rd (Friday) between 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm.
THIS WILL BE FREE!!!
KRCL 90.9 ( > http://www.krcl.org > ) will also carry a live stream for any interested in listening in. Mark Contor of the Fret and Fiddle show will be beginning the interview and then the floor will open to audience members.
Anyone interested in coming out to meet the guys, learn interesting facts, ask them direct questions and almost certainly play a few tunes together should DO SO.
The after concert party at the pub is still being hashed out as I understand it.

I downloaded WinAmp to listen to the radio stream, but all I get is a “Page not found” screen. I would LOVE to hear this show. Can anyone help me troubleshoot the setup?
I do not know if it is your timing (the radio active stream is only on from 12-1 m-f) or something else.
If you click on the Radio Active ad on the left side of the radio stations home page it takes you to another page with a contact us link. That is the path I would take. You have a couple of days to get feedback from them.
saw the Chieftain’s here in Cincinnati late summer. Earl Scruggs was along. My first dulcimer teacher, celtic harpist Nancy Bick Clark was chosen to play with them, too!

It’s true - the radio interview/mini-concert should be an absolute blast! I’m not going to the show itself (that I’m aware of) as I can’t justify the cost of tickets when I’ve already seen them twice before.
I plan on playing a few tunes with the guys however during the radio thing so we’ll see how that goes.
