Cheers… I will
![]()
And I’ll let you know how it was ![]()
…so, how were they? Paddy with them?
Aye Joseph, he was and they were gggggrrrrrrreeeeeeaaattttttttttt!!!
They had some Canadian dancers (one was also a fiddler) an Irish lass dancing and even some GHB’s ![]()
But the whole show was fantastic, I was thoroughly entertained. However, It’s back to the drawing board with me playing
They had some Canadian dancers (one was also a fiddler)
…
That wouldn’t have been Natalie McMaster, would it? Did she dance (Breton-style) while she played?
Was this one of the fiddler dancer guys? They did a great tap bit too.

Was the dancer Cara Butler? She was with them last January here in Salt Lake. Cara is Jean’s sister - the dancer famous from the Riverdance video.
Good to hear you enjoyed the show. I have always delighted in their concerts.
Hi Brian, It could have been although the one I saw possibly looked a little younger and didn’t wear any glasses. He and the other guy were tall and thin and yes they did a great tap, the fiddler tapped while he played which was quite good. They both looked a little scruffy or casual in comparison to the suits of Paddy & co.
Great picture though ![]()
It was Breton style dancing I beleieve but it was two guys. The young lass was Irish and danced strict Irish dance, it was a nice blend between her and the guys.
I shoulda read them all
Yes Cara Butler sounds familiar it probably was her. One of the difficulties I had was being right up in the gods. Great view but difficult to hear what was being spoken.
Aren’t they brothers from around Quebec?
Two guys - Canadians, yep, that sounds like… (don’t recall their names, but I saw them when they gigged with the Chieftains here in Denver a couple of years ago).
I think (from your description) they could be Jonathan and Nathan Pelatsky. They featured on the Chieftains “Down The Old Plank Road” DVD, with Emmy Lou Harris, Buddy and July Miller and the Del MaCorry band among others. I think it’s Nathan that plays the fiddle.
