Back from Ireland

Wow! what a fantastic trip! Cindy and I had a blast. We stayed up every night till 4-5. We didn’t want to miss any songs! Cindy was a big hit, much to her surprise. (not mine  ). I got her to sing a Chinese song the first night and nobody could get enough. She really has a beautiful voice. They even got her to get up and sing at the festival’s dedication ceremony and concert.

We had a fascinating day up at Emhain Macha (Navan Fort). There are always so many interesting people at the Festival. I will post some pix later. We didn’t use a digital camera so I have to photograph the photos.

I would say that it is good to be back in Atlanta but… Oh well.

It is good to be back on C&F again. I missed y’all.

Sounds terrific Paul… pictures? got’ny pictures?

I thought that was closed! Have they reopened it now? If so, I have to go backk! Anyway, it sounds like you had a grand time. Welcome back!

Blackhawk, the visitors center actually is still closed, but you can go up on the mound and all round the place. Cindy and I happened to meet a local guy there who shared some of his knowledge about the site with us. He took us around and explained what everything was and how it related to the Ulster Cycle stories, and the Knights of the Red Branch, etc. It was really cool.

Welcome back Paul. It sounds like you and Cindy had fun! Can’t wait to see the Pix!

Cheers,
Kathy
