I posted this on the Whistleboard earlier. Since some of y’all don’t frequent there I thought I’d post it here too. I hope nobody minds. :smiley:

Cindy and I will be going to Armagh tomorrow! It’s the Tommy Makem Song Festival. Last year it was great and was undoubtably the highlight of my year. (I went alone) Almost every night we had a song session until 7:00 AM or so. What do they say, if you go to bed before midnight you go to bed late, if after then your going to bed early?? I often missed the coach in the morning and had to take a cab to meet up with the tour. :smiley: I’m sure Cindy will get my butt out of bed on time this year. :slight_smile:

On Wednesday night, we will be treated to a concert of the Armagh Pipers Club. Brian Vallely will probably be playing on his awesome Williams stainless set. I got to see the Kennedy set last year. :slight_smile: I’ll get pics up here when I get back. I might get to do a post or two from the hotel. If not, I’ll talk to ye’s all in aboot a week.
