adding to the IrTrad arsenal..........an Edgley 'Tina

In another thread, Colomon referred to playing in a session with Frank Edgley recently.
Frank is one of a short list of master Concertina makers in the world, and I believe the only one in Canada. Weasel maker Glenn Schultz came over to the Kildare House in Windsor about 2 months back for a session and brought Frank Edgley with him to join us. Great fun, and afterwards, off for a tour of Franks’s workshop about 3 blocks away from the Kildare, & a few more tunes.
Anyway, I ordered a 'Tina from Frank, and took delivery last weekend of a 30 Button C/G 'Tina in Zebrawood with German Silver endplates [its the 4th one down in Frank’s web photos]
http://www.concertinas.ca
so for the past few nights at home, I’ve been picking up the 'tina, then the whistle, then the 'tina, whistle,'tina…its so good, it hurts…may the Good Lord help my family to understand or at least endure.

What a beautiful instrument. I listened to the sound clip on the webpage, and it sounds great too!
Congrats on its arrival, it sounds like you’re having a blast.

Very nice. I’ve always enjoyed his playing when I’ve heard him. Always at Goderich, I think. The prices on those seem pretty reasonable given what I’ve heard that concertinas usually cost.
