Very, very cool!!

Good good stuff! I wish I could hear the whole thing, though…that little bit just gave me a powerful hunger for more.

Michael - What did you record in on/in? It came out Greek to my screen.

What player are you using? I was able to view it in Winamp with no difficulty.

Wow! That is great. I can’t wait till I am good enough to do a performance like that. I’m inspired. That must have been a blast!

This was recorded originally on a Panasonic D-SNAP SV-AV100 MPEG-2 camcorder, a tiny little camera that stores full DVD resolution MPEG-2 on SecureDigital (SD) media instead of tape.

The files were brought into ULead VideoStudio 7, and transcoded from their native 720x480 MPEG-2 format into Windows Media 9 video and audio, which does a pretty good job of providing something more web-friendly.

Overall, on this tune, I think the band was playing a bit rushed and too straight for my taste. You can hear a bit of stifle in my playing as I tried to lock step with the rest of the players, but overall it was great. The dancers had the space of an entire downtown city intersection (covered with green astroturf) as their dance surface, so they had all kinds of room to do their thing… I’ll see if I can post a clip of the dancers along with the band…

Nice. I didn’t have problems viewing it either. I used Media player, and have gobs of extra codecs as well.
