TV Commercial for our local pub w/session clips

Hi y’all,

“The Field”, probably our best Irish restaurant and pub here in San Diego, put together a TV commercial that includes a few seconds of video from our weekly session.

The session is every Sunday night from 7-10 PM. Please come visit if you’re ever in San Diego.

Enjoy!

Michael

Cool!(I’m downloading it now.)Is this going to count towards your 15 minutes?

It makes me want to go! although I can’t beleive they didn’t give the whistle player more face time!

I didn’t see the bodhran player was he in the basement?

Will definately check you guys out when I go out to visit the family… They live not far from Temecula… Actually if you know where Aguanga is… near Anza… You’ll drive through Aguanga and Anza on the way to Palm Springs if you take the way through the mountains… Nice Commercial! I wish we had a Pub like that here!

Thanks for posting the URL, Michael.

I’m the whistle player in the green shirt right when the announcer says “traditional Irish dancers”. That’s a Copeland brass D.

The video compression makes it pretty hard to tell for sure, and I hope you’ll correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks to me like that’s Bob Burns, playing a brass Burke D. That’s certainly his wife Kathleen playing the fiddle, with her back to the camera.

It’s fun to see a snip our favorite haunt, isn’t it?

Yep, its Bob… so funny we look alike from that angle, and both wear khaki shorts and green shirts…

My bad…

Cheers,

Michael

There’s an uncanny resemblance, I agree.

But as Michael has mentioned, we’d be happy to see any of you drop by if you’re ever in San Diego on a Sunday. They treat us very well indeed at The Field.
