WTB: Used wooden D flute, < $650

Hi,

I decided to upgrade from my great Tipple D to something made of wood. Does anyone on the board have something good for sale? I’d like it to be from a well-known flutemaker so I can be sure it will have a good resale value in the future if I want to upgrade again

Thanks!
Julian

Hi

Doc Jones at the irishflutestore would be a good starting point, he usually has some very good flutes in from lots of makers, and is a great guy to deal with, the website is all the (w’s) irishflutestore dot com.

although there are a few nice flutes for sale on the board at the moment some may have sold, just scroll down the page or go back a few days or so, there is always some great deal to be had.

I second irishflutestore. I just purchased a flute from Doc Jones earlier this week. (Delivery was attempted yesterday morning, but nobody was home to receive delivery.) He was really so pleasant to deal with and answered my questions very quickly. There are plenty of flutes on the site in your price range. Doc also got kudos from the flutemaker, whom I first contacted directly to see if he had what I was looking for in stock. Shipping costs were extremely reasonable as well. I would do business with him ten times over.

I have a used Copley Rosewood flute for sale–excellent condition, for $650, including postage in the US. PM me if you are interested.

I just started playing a Sweetheart Resonance and HIGHLY recommend it. Doc sells 'em or you can get them direct from the Sweets.

Nice flute from a good Joe, and especially at that price-it’s his regular flute with a tuning slide, and it has sexy rings too!

Thanks for all the advice. Am looking in to the suggested options now!
