Wooden flute headjoints for Trevor James flute

I was wondering if anyone out there knows where I could purchase a wooden headjoint for my silver C flute that is mid price?
I have been looking all over and most of them are over $1000! Any help would be appreciated. I would not mind a used one but I have the feeling that
there are not many of those out there

Dave Copley would be one: http://www.copleyflutes.com/boehm.html There’s a review and some comments about his Boehm heads here on the forum; I play one of his flutes, and it’s great.
Perhaps there are others under $1000–here’s a pretty comprehensive list:

Thank you. Has anyone tried one of the headjoints done by Dave Copley and give me an idea about the sound and the ease of playability?
I am looking for that rich dark mellow sound.

I have a Copley head joint that I use sometimes with my Boehm flute. It does have a nice, dark sound, but still focused. I like it a lot.

I sent you info in a PM.

Get a conical wooden flute :smiling_imp:

Checking in your price range, I believe the Copley to be your best deal. If you’re in the EU, then possibly Eva Aralikatti (she’s on the flutemakers list).

At the full $1,000 you quote, you could get a Di Zhao ( http://www.thefluteloft.com/Prices.php ). He worked for Powell and Haynes flutemakers.
