I just told the whistlers about your Dixon Low D/Flute combo, because I think it’s a great deal for anyone who’s wanted to try them both. That comes out to $32.50 per instrument! I was actually tempted myself, because I’ve never tried that Low D, and people have commented how they liked it. But, I guess I’ll let it go…have had a few too many Low Ds by now…maybe! I guess I’ll just concentrate on the flute for now!
The Copley was bought by myself, and I got it today, in good condition and good time
(the biggest delay was me getting the money order, I’m afraid!)
My first impression is very good. It plays very similarly to my Seery, only more easily
and with a nicer tone, which is pretty much exactly what I was looking for, so I’m
very pleased. Unfortunately, it’ll be until tomorrow evening before I can sit down with
it again!
After some time with it, I may post a fuller commentary in its own thread.
