Copeland Low-D whistle...now on eBay

I have a very fabulous Copeland Lo-D whistle (new in April) that I’d be willing to part with as part of a swap for a good flute. I also have a hi-D or two and an A that I might be willing to part with (under diress).

If anyone’s interested shoot me an email or private message.

Thanks,

Doc

The A is a Burke Composite..really a fabulous whistle (if it goes I’ll have to buy another). Some of my hi-Ds might be negotiable too…depends on the flute.

Thanks again,

Doc

Give it up man, a good flute is worth a whole chest full of top o’ the line whistles, so your pleas are falling on deaf ears around here.

Your time would and energy would be better spent deciding which flute maker’s waiting list to get on, Doc.

Either that or be willing to pay (in cash) more than original price for someone’s used stick, and start living on ebay.

Oooww!..

Reminds me that the old Mayo fiddler Paddy Mills refers to them as “seamless gutters”… try a plumbers list.

Regards, Harry.

Ah but hope springs eternal Loren.

Who knows, maybe someone out there has decided on taking up concert flute.

Or someone may want to move up to a keyless and has always wanted a Copeland.

Or maybe someone has decided that the flute isn’t there thing and would rather have one of the best Lo-Ds on Earth for a little immediate gratification.

I’ll get on Copleys list if necessary.

In the mean time a guy can dream can’t he?

Doc

In that case, I’ll simply bid you sweet dreams then, buttercup

P.S. If you simply MUST have a decent flute quickly, consider buying one of Skip Healy’s two piece (slideless) flutes while you wait for your Copley: Skip can usually get you a brand new flute in just a few weeks, and his two piecw is $500. I believe.

Well I got some very good offers from some very nice people but, in the end, decided to get on Dave Copley’s waiting list.

So, in order to pay for the transverse tooter I have put my much-beloved Copeland on eBay.

Hi Doc,
good luck with the sale. I did warn you that a flute could be the cure for “Whoa” Are you getting Blackwood or Rosewood? Be sure to let us all know what you think of it when you get it. Did you say you had a practice flute or are you going straight in with the Copley?

Cheers, Mac

I ordered a blackwood keyless.

I’ve got a polymer three-piece Dixon and an Olwell F bamboo on the way.

My goal is to be able to make musical sounds on one or the other of them before my name comes up on Dave’s waiting list.
