I have the following whistes for sale. I’m funding another flute (and you thought WhOA was bad! ). All are in great condition with only minor surface scratches. All are by Bernard Overton.
Sorry, I will not ship outside the USA.
Overton Low-D…$200
Overton Low-F…$185 …Sold
Overton Low-G…$185 …Sold
Overton Hi-D…$145 …Sold
Warning…I may weany-out and keep the F. It’s freakishly good. The others are merely fantastic.
I really like Overtons but I have a hard time with aluminum…irritates my lip for some reason.
I will pay insured shipping in the USA.
I will not accept payment via Paypal (I’m mad at them).
I can take a credit card over the phone or you can send a money order.
Please respond via Private message.
Thanks much,
Doc
Oh yeah, I may be up for a good trade as well.
Flutes Irish or Traverso/baroque may be the same as legal tender.
Doc
So what flute are you looking at?
I’m probably within a couple of months of getting on the waiting list for a Byrne…if i can stay away from other instruments for a while. I just picked up a Lyon & Healy tenor banjo off of ebay a few weeks ago.
take care

Rats! The F has been sold. I’m going to regret this I know it.
The Low D is still available.
Doc
I bought an Overton Low D for 5 pounds. I didn’t realise they went for so much. Car boot sales are great!

5 pounds? Wow! Someone perhaps needed a quick fix. Come to think of it, I need a quick fix of an overton F. Haven’t played my Copeland F or other whistles in ages.
A while back there was a post on the whistle board by some guy in Canada that bought a couple of Overtons at a yard sale for peanuts. He was a newbie and was posting to see if they were good whistles and whether he’d gotten a good deal.
Why do I miss all the good yard sales?
