Hi. I recently aquired three Overtons from another board member for the great price of $80 + $5 shipping. I didn’t really need three new whistles, but I thought I’d get them since the price was good and pick out the one I liked best and pass the others along to someone else.
I have a high D, a wide-bore high C, and an alto F.
I’m going to keep the F (that seems to be a good key for Overtons…I’ve tried two and they were both great). Actually, I might sell the F, but not for $80…feel free to make an offer if you’d like…otherwise I’m hanging on to it.
If anyone would like the high D and/or high C, I’ll sell them for what I paid ($80 +$5).
I almost kept the high D too…it’s a very nice sounding whistle but takes a little too much pressure for high A and B for my tastes, but you can really push the lower octave because of this.
The wide-bore high C I really don’t care for. I’ts really loud, especially in the 2nd octave…you probably don’t want this one for playing indoors.
