The whistles have been spoken for. Thanks, John.
I’m selling two Overton whistles made by Goldie in Germany. One is a soprano (high D), the other is a tenor (low D). Both are anodized a lovely dark blue, and both are tunable. They are a darker blue than in the images. These are great whistles, but I find I don’t play them like I thought I would, I’m a dedicated flute player it turns out. I bought both whistles directly from Goldie; he even played them over the telephone while I was choosing. The high D is made to the same specifications that Brian Finnegan plays. It takes very little air and makes a nice session whistle, not too loud, not too soft, just right. The low D, well, what can you say, it’s an Overton! The blue anodizing is very cool looking. I paid $207 for the high D and $341 for the low D. I will sell them for $175 and $295 plus $25 shipping. I’ll give someone a discount if they buy both. These are like new, I’ve hardly used them. They come with the padded black bags. Thanks, John.
