WTB:Sweetheart keyless Irish flute

Looking to buy a new or second hand sweetheart keyless Irish flute (Not the resonance model). Anyone that has one of these kicking around that they might like to unload, please feel free to PM me. Thanks!

You might inquire about whether this Sweetheart is still available.

I just sent you a pm, since I have a rosewood Sweet that should go to a new home where it can be loved. I’ve moved on to a keyed flute, and my Sweet is languishing.

Can I ask why you don’t want the resonance model?

Doc

Doc has a four-keyed pre-owned sweetheart
rosewood D.

Thanks, I saw that one but thought the price (what with the current value of the dollar vs. the GBP) was alittle to steep for me, especially considering the condition of the flute.

Two reasons:
One, I recently got to try out the regular version Irish sweet flute and liked it. (I did not mean to infer that the resonance was in anyway bad, I’ve never heard or played one)
Two, I personally prefer the looks of the regular sweet vs. the resonance. Stupid reason, but there it is.

Fear not. Much of this world’s economy is driven by “stupid reasons”

But yours sound like pretty good reasons to me.

There seems to be one on eBay:

Is that an F? 15+ inches?

I think that would be in the C~Bb range.

If it is like traditional band flutes, perhaps Bb.

Flute lengths.

Terry McGee has one at about 15.35".

Oh yeah, high D would be 1/2, around 13 inches.
