Whistles/others for sale: ...all sold

Finances require the sale of some nice whistles and other assorted instruments.

First up is actually not a whistle. It’s the cloth case that came with my Copeland Low D. I’ve since gotten a hard case for it, so I’m not using this one. People have said they like the cloth cases, so if anyone wants it, it’s $12 shipped.

Next is my Syn whistle, high D. I did a review of this whistle back when I got it. The review is still available but the pics and sound clips in the review are no longer there. Here’s a new sound clip:

The review is at http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php?p=119526

The picture later on in this message has the Syn in it, it’s the bottom whistle. I’m asking $24 priority shipped to the USA; last I heard, they were $35 shipped new.

Next is my original style Serpent whistle, high D. It’s all brass, tunable, with quite a bit of nice engraving on it. It’s the middle whistle in the pic later on. I haven’t polished it recently but I can polish it before it’s sent if you like. Again, I did a review at one point (pics and sounds within review are not functional):

A new sound clip can be heard here: http://www.rit.edu/~eeg6662/cf/Serpent_Rolling_Wave.mp3

This whistle was made before Serpent Music branched out into the current models of whistles they have now, but I imagine it’s more or less a Viper model. Those are $90 new. I’m asking $44 shipped. I’ve also got the original green bag that it came with, I believe.

Top to bottom, an unlisted hybrid whistle, the Serpent D, and the Syn D

If someone buys something and wants the hybrid one to play with, you can have it free with your purchase.

Whoops, forgot to list this one the first time. Dixon Low C. Yup, that’s what I said. Tunable.

They are 53.25 pounds excluding VAT on Tony’s site, plus shipping I believe. That translates to $88.63 using www.xe.com . I’m asking $50 shipped priority. This is a really cool whistle, and the reach is doable with practice.

Thanks for looking. Anything that doesn’t sell is going on eBay later this month. Figured I’d give you first dibs. As always, if you get an instrument from me and you hate it, you can return it for a refund. Please email me with any questions. International buyers contact me for shipping costs.

The whole lot is gone, in what has to be the quickest transaction I’ve ever taken part in. :boggle:

Thanks for looking.
