Whistles For Sale

Water Weasel in A gray PVC. No plumbing code. Sale Pending.

Olivewood and Brass Busman High D made in 05, I like this whistle but I have played it very little recently and I am in need of money. Plus I like louder whistles than this one even though the tone is so sweet. Sale Pending.

Black Diamond in D Sold.

Trades considered.

Bump.

Is there really no one on this board that wants a Water Weasel in A?

I already have one, and I wouldn’t part with it for any reason.

The WW A is a truly awesome whistle – it has more in common with low whistles than with pennywhistles. It has a big sound with a bit of roughness and a bit of sweetness.

Also, I’ve dealt with Avery at least a few times as both buyer and seller, and he’s a stand-up dude.

Howdy,

I’ve got one too, and like it a lot.

Best,

Dave

Ditto.

What kind of trade would you consider?

I already own a Thin Weasel in A…it’s fabulous and if I had more use for an A whistle I might buy your WW just to have a little variety. I’m sure you could exceed your asking price by selling on eBay. Heck, I’d even sell it for you out of board courtesy.

I have added another nice whistle of mine that gets little play.

Bumpity bump!

I have no interest in this sale but…

I can’t believe the WW and the Busman have not sold. I really like my Weasels. The grey Water Weasel A is a winner all around, one of my favorites for sure.

As it happens I also own an olivewood Busman with brass fittings. It is one of the most attractive whistles I have ever seen - and it plays great too. Olivewood has the some of the most interesting grain figure and color there is. If someone is looking for a real looker at a great price, jump on this one.

Well I’m pleased it hadn’t sold, cuz I put a check in the mail to Avery yesterday. Never played an A, but I’ve seen a number of people say they like that key and I’m expecting I might get more slack from the wife if the whistle is not so piercing as a D.

Now I’m doing the “look out the window for the mailman” jig.

Carey

Times have changed. Around here we do the ‘‘look out the window for the mailmamm.’’ She is real nice. Pulls into the driveway and honks the horn when there is a package.

Carey, I hope you like the Water Weasel A. The pitch of an A whistle may not be as piercing as a high D but the Water Weasel is a loud but nicely balanced whistle. Let us know what you , and your wife, think of it.

I see that the Busman sale is pending but I thought I’d show a picture of my Olivewood Busman in case anyone needs a little more inspiration.
