Whistle Blowout

Well, I’ve reached that point again (the one we all reach). It’s time to clear out some of my collection to make room for new.

I have the following up for offer…

Burke DWBB Old style (from the year 2000). It’s tarnished with time but in perfect condition otherwise. $80

Water Weasels
Low G/A set (Grey) Tuneable (one fipple) and I’ll throw in a white Eb tuneable Water Weasel to boot. $75 - SOLD

Low D Chieftain Tuneable (another relic from around 2000). $80

M&E Delrin Flute (Original Model with Rings) in D $250 - LEEL has spoken for this.

All prices are in American Dollars. Shipping outside US and Canada may cost a couple bucks more depending on how much it costs me.

Yeah, I’m selling some of this for a pretty decent deal. The Low D and Flute for instance were replaced by my Copeland Low D which, now that I can play the thing properly is excatly the sound I want. It’s just time to clear out some space. I take excellent care of my instruments, so everything is pretty much as it was when I originally bought them (except some tarnish with age).

Send me a PM if interested…

Not even 20 mins and that Weasel set is already gone. Too bad, I would have wanted it. I just sold a bunch of stuff myself. That M&E won’t last long.

Please check PM posted 8:20 CST.

Thanks,

LEE

A G/A Water Weasel set? That would have been interesting; I thought I had everything the WW line had to offer except the B. My low-G is white, 3/4 rather than 5/8 plumbing pipe. I would have snatched it up had it not been gone before I ever saw it.

I know I sound like a broken record, but the Burke WBB is my absolute favorite non-wooden whistle in the world. I have one from around the same vintage as this one, and it’s on my short list of whistles I take to the grave.

The WW set was made when he first started making them. I don’t think he made many of them (Grey PvC low whistles seemed to be rare for him too).

The Burke is the older style. I actually prefer it to his newer ones, but I want to make sure everybody knows exactly what they are looking at. It’s a great whistle, but I play my Copelands more these days.
