I’m looking for a source of whistles-by-the-box in Canada. Mellow D’s would be ideal, but any straight-tubed plastic-fippled instruments in D would be great. It’s for a non-profit charitable society, so good deals are a must.

Well Musician’s Friend has Mellow Ds they are in America but in Oregon and I notice you are in BC and that is not that far apart.

I’d rather deal with a Canadian importer / wholesaler to save customs problems and $. My local store can get me a box of Gen D’s, but I just haven’t got that much spare time for tweaking.
MusiciansFriend can’t ship to Canada. Would have been a good enough deal to offset customs fees. Dern.

Some vendors have agreements with their suppliers about shipping areas (as is the case with Musician’s Friend) but NAFTA doesn’t exist, anyway. Someone once said that the best reason for living in the US was so as not to be victimized by US foreign policy. I wouldn’t go that far, but it seems that trade rules are very, very funny. As in, like, that funny smell from below the sink kinda funny. Not very fond of the US Gov right now, for many reasons.
Shadow Musicians Friend sells LBWs through Amazon (Girdenelli or whatever is part of Musicians friend). I might have to buy a whole bunch of Clares 32 for $150 aint bad. I had trouble ordering through the Feadog website they say they will send a confirmation email but I never got one and I put an order in on Thursday.
