buying whistles in bulk

I was wondering if anyone knows of a place that I can make a purchase of 40 or 50 whistles and get a bulk discount? They’re for a non-profit summer program here in Cleveland exposing kids to different aspects of Irish culture. Any help would be much appreciated.

Musician’s Friend sell the Waltons Little Black Whistle for $4, and the Mellow D for $6 in 10-packs. About the best standing deals I’ve seen, without resorting to Clarke Megs or Sweetones. Elderly Instruments or The Whistle Shop might give you bulk deals if you contact them directly.

Megs would be a good choice. I once bought 10 seven of which were quite good.

I wonder if Jerry Freeman could give you any leads.

PM sent.

I received top notch customer service from Whistle and Drum when purchasing bulk whistles for workshops that our local Comhaltas branch sponsored.

Send an e-mail to the owners and let them know what you’re doing and see what they can do to help you.

The company that makes Clare whistles does a box of 50 for around 100 euros. There would be postage and import duty to pay though.

I really like the LBW’s but they are as fragile as whistles get.

Yes, the LBW scores low on the Body Mass Gravitational Vector Deformation test. In other words, don’t sit on it. In all other respects, a very nice starter’s whistle.

Write a note to Feadog.ie or clarketinwhistle.com or pm me for a contact for Gens.
