Just wondering: I have a friend travelling to Brittany for a holiday in a few days’ time, and she nicely offered to get me a whistle from those parts if she chanced upon one.
Are there any worth getting? What is the estimated price range?
The only one I know is Peter Merbeth, but there are a couple of others I think (do a search on Google). Peter makes some of the best looking ebony flutes I’ve ever seen, but I’m not so sure about his whistles (also ebony), and there’s an 18 month waiting list.
