Looks like one of these original India-made WOG* to me…

Yes, it is an “Asarkar” nickel-plated brass low D, made in India. It most likely will have dents in it. The picture shown on eBay is from the http://www.mid-east.com online catalogue, and it’s safe to say, not of the actual instrument up for sale. There’re always a lot of these for sale on eBay.

I have one, and it has a nice tone. The “Asarkar” whistles are usually in tune with themselves, but not usually up to pitch with other instruments. However, the low D is much more in tune than the other key “Asarkar” whistles I have.
