VIRUS INFECTION?

Each time I logged on to C & F today Avast! warned me of a Malware/Trojan infection. Can someone check this out?

I am using Avast and not a peep from it. The virus database is up to date.

Are you using MS Internet Exploder? I use Firefox.

No problem here either. Firefox or IE with Avast 4.7 and the latest database 080125-0.

The problem seems to lie with my local internet files. I have deleted these and the PC seem to be OK now. Avast! isn’t reporting any more problems.

I had the same problem with Avast last night, today it was gone.

Thanks for the info. I reported this to the Avast website and they will check it out.
