Hello all,
I’m trying to learn as much as I can on whistle, and I hope to start the life long process of learning the uilleann pipes soon. Does anyone know of any pipers in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia? I’m afraid sessions are few and far between down here. I would appreciate any advice.

you have to get away to charlottesville on a sunday to pick up a session… honestly, in virginia (not including dc) this is where you are going to find what you seek. no pipers up there, but there is a guy in lynchburg.
pat sky in chapel hill is your best bet.
good luck… i am from virginia (well, grew up there) and played music there for years in c’ville…
I am in Bristol, TN just across the border from Bristol, VA in SWVA. There are a few pipers in Knoxville like Rick Hall on this list.
