This March I have tickets to see the Chieftains. Is anyone else planning on going to one of their concerts?
Ahh, I wish. I’ve seen them several times and they always put on a good show. Usually they’re here in Cincinnati around the first part of March which is when my birthday is. Tickets to their show has always been a good present to myself.
All’s not lost though, I have tickets for Flook on March 2nd. 
I skipped the Chieftains when they were here last month, and I’m planning on skipping Flook when they are here in March. On the other hand, I’m planning to drive an hour to catch Matt and Shannon Heaton in March. Then the next week I have to decide if I’m going to go see bustapipah’s band Millish here in town or drive an hour (again) to catch Grey Larsen.
You won’t be sorry you chose to see Matt & Shannon.
I’m well aware of that, having heard them repeatedly, played in sessions with them several times, and even taken a class or two from them.
