Just tripped across this on the Net. Check it out as it is very interesting. You could spend hours typing in all kinds of names.
I never heard of an Ambigram before.

Ambigrams were made recently popular in the Dan Brown novel “Angels and Demons”, which was a prequel to “Davinci Code”.
Indeed. Very cool stuff.
However, in Brown’s book, he declares rather matter-of-factly that Ambigrams are so elusive and difficult to manufacture that to be able to create one requires nothing short of necromancy.
My favorite is the ambigram that you can write yourself, in simple common longhand.
Try writing, in cursive, the word “chump”:

This webpage has tons of them:
This is WAY COOL!
I’m having loads of fun with this. ![]()

Check out an ambigram I made for a wedding present, for a friend of a friend.
I’ve done about a half dozen of these things, often using mirrors and once a 3-d effect with stone carving.
Douglas R Hofstadter mentioned them in one of his books. That was years and years ago. Can’t remember which book - it may have been Metamagical Themas.
For a while I toyed with an ambigram which could be either “Yes” or “No”.
