“crow’s ear” ![]()
“I is a edukatud graduit.”
Oh, fer cryin’ out loud. “Crow’s ear”. Reminds me of some of the encaptioned TV programs I’ve watched. Those can get pretty funny.
Crozier wasn’t he an NHL goalie at one time?
MarkB
Bobzier uncle.
But we all call him Robert.

Can’t you hear it: “Well, the spell checker didn’t catch it.”
Yeah, those work off of something similar to Dragon Naturally Speaking. Gets really nasty if a foreign language is spoken. Re: “Crow’s Ear” this fellow Ian Fisher has been covering the Pope for The New York Times since long before John Paul II’s death. You would think either he would have done his homework or an editor would have caught something so outrageously wrong.
Cheers,
David
Oh yeah…Jaynzier Aunt! ![]()
Oh, piffle. Knowing the word “crozier” doesn’t exactly get you the babes or the spondulics. Plus you’re marked as a geek because it’s an obscure word that has nothing to do with career advancement and no one you hang with uses, and so doesn’t really matter. Every one knows THAT.
So obviously I’m a geek. I even say “piffle”. This would account for my legendary, bigger-than-life romantic adventures. Not to mention my fat wallet. ![]()
Nano,
Time to check your meds…
Denny
Thanks. Ever since Bloomfield talked me into going with the frontal lobotomy, my memory’s been a bit…oh, what IS that word…
You too??? Bloomie told me he was getting me a good price on the procedure but I’m still not sure he was really on the up and up. I don’t mind the scars so much but the never ending stream of slobber is rough on my shirts.
Cheers,
David
P.S. Is it any wonder I only have 595 posts since 2001?
I think he may have much to answer for.
You should probably take it easy on him. He had a rough day trying to explain some music theory to some of us dunces.
That’s just religious type spelling. Ain’t you never heard of Gladly the cross-eyed bear?
I am sitting here, playing Farewell my Frontal Lobe (great tune) and my ears are ringing. First off all, Feadan, it was a bargain. Really, you try and get another lobotomy that cheap anywhere else. How was I supposed to know your HMO wouldn’t cover the procedure? And at least you haven’t been hearing those voices anymore. ![]()
Cynth: that’s all right, happy to. Very gracious of you to call it “explaining,” too, I am sure. ![]()
Too true. Now I only see them. I suppose I should count my blessings. But I still recognize the color of their chant, “Kill zem…you must kill zem all!”. I mean…whats up with that?
Cheers (& slobber),
David
Reminds me of that awful disaster movie that had the words “Marshall Law” captioning a TV report…
“Crow’s ear”…that’s just plain bad. It’s not even pronounced like that…more like “crohzher.”
Redwolf
How about,
“Blessed art thou, a monk swimming…”
