Thanks

I just want to take a moment and thank all of you. I live in central Indiana, and most people here don’t even know what a whistle is. Sometimes I get discouraged playing and think, “Why can’t I be like everyone else and play guitar?” But then I get on this site and all of you encourage me, and I shut the computer down and go the the basement and play for an hour. And come upstairs happy.
Thanks, all of you!

I think I know how you feel. I went into one of the (two) local music shops recently and asked if they had a Clarkes Sweetone … the blank look I received needed no further explanation

Thank goodness for the internet

BTW … I do/did play guitar and banjo, but injured my left index finger last year so I can’t hold the neck comfortably … can still “fret” a whistle though

For many of us, we are the best whistle players people have ever heard.

God help them.

God help them.

Also, echoing the thanks. Esp. for your patience with the newbies like me.

Another echo; I am a very slow learner, but the helpful people on this forum have helped me progress way faster than I would have managed on my own.
