I’m desolate now. I really hoped he was actually playing. The idea of the whistle in the future sounds good to me. ![]()
Wow!! Even more great information I didn’t know I wanted to know!!
Thanks, Dale, for all your time and trouble to make my life complete. I can sleep restfully now ![]()
Wow! The mistery has been solved at last. I do not believe that a finding of this magnitude could be outdone by anything other than irrefutable proof that Andrea Corr is actually a man.
I think Dr. Wisely has proven once and for all time that he is indeed the Undisputed King of Internet Whistle Journalism! Long live the King!
…but what will we talk about now???

Hmmm. Maybe I should go check?

THANKS Dale and everyone else for researching this so well. Too bad there
wasn’t a Doctorate paper in it for
someone. It evidentally was a VERY important
issue for us Whistlers.

Ahh…Mastersound, I’m curious: What is it exactly those two smiley faces are doing? It looks familiar…

Whew!! Now at LAST I’ll be able to go to sleep at night.

Hey. I think I detect a little sarcasm here in this thread. A little irony.
That’s MY department.
Dale,
You (and Michael) have brought internet whistle journalism to new heights. I commend you for your thorough and un-biased treatment of this difficult and controversial story!
Erik
Dale, the whistle in the photo is not the prop thats up for sale. This bears the hallmark of the real thing if you ask me..solid piece of brass my bottom! Why not include a pic of the prop along side it?

I have to agree with you Mike, that’s definitely not a solid piece of brass.
Now either you or Rich need to put a large, banner-type pointer to this message on the top of the page or as a permanent first message. Otherewise, the question will still come up every newcomer Star Trek fan finds the board.

Nah. You could make the link some huge flashing graphic that beeps at you, and they’d still click right past it to ask their question. Those dear people who like to pet the buffalo and swim in the lovely pools don’t just live in Yellowstone National Park. They’re everywhere.
Neil,
You forgot those people who HAVE to get right up in a moose’s face for a close up picture. At least that was what they last kinda remember doing before waking up in the hospital.
Um, are those the same people that think raccoons are cute and think that skunks are pretty striped kitties?
Good one, Anna
I just wish my terriers would get over thinking skunks are striped kitties. They’ve enough sense not to mess with a grown 'coon, at least when alone, but they can’t resist harassing skunks. Fortunately, between suburban assault vehicles and coyotes, we seem to have far fewer skunks than of old.
I’ve been having a debate with a friend about whether Jean Luc really played that flute thing on that Star Trek episode. Can anyone direct me to some information on the topic. Thanks in advance.
By the way, I’m going to Yellowstone this summer. Any advice about things to do. I’m a photography buff and love to swim.
Tony
FYI, this is now Matrixed
