This will be about as interesting to many as Seinfeld re-runs, but perhaps there are other non American adults who are only just now enjoying this with the kids across Europe and elsewhere. Can anyone provide any links related to this delightfully brilliant animated series?

Mike, I’m glad you recognize the genius of Sponge Bob Square Pants. I think you’ll agree when I say that he is one of America’s most valuable contributions to world culture. Here is the ABC file for one of the show’s better known tunes.

We were searching for some of the theme tunes months ago, and I had no idea all these sites existed.

For any of the non-initiated, there’s quite a bit of whistle playing in Spongebob.
I was at a conference a few weeks ago, and the conversation turned to Spongebob at dinner. At one point, one guy piped up with something to the effect, “Here we are, three PhD’s and we’ve been talking about Spongebob for half an hour.”
