Looking for music to Spongebob Squarepants...

Hi all,

not to be outdone by Chris in the field of religion, I’ve decided to start a local branch of the Church of Spongebob. For more information on this new denomination, see:

http://www.churchofspongebob.org/

To show that I’m better than Chris, I already have a congregation of 2 (this excludes myself) made up of my wife and 4 year old son, but I think live music would add to our worship services (7pm CST on Nickolodeon).

Therefore, if you have ABC versions of the opening theme, closing theme, or of the nice hornpipe played throughout the show I’d appreciate your posting them to this thread.

Also, I’m curious what you all think is the instrument that Spongebob plays at the end of the opening theme - they try to trick you into thinking it’s a plain old noseflute, but I’m wondering if it’s really a Ressikan noseflute…

“This website http://www.churchofspongebob.org is currently unavailable due to exceeded monthly traffic quota. Please visit again later.”

How odd, I just got on there. It’s a hoot. I also just found that the hornpipe has been ABC’d earlier on on this esteemed forum:

I know that the opening them is essentially “Yo Ho blow the man down”, but the end theme is the one I get stuck in my head for days at a time…you’d think I could figure it out myself, but I haven’t yet.

My son really wants me to be able to play all the various Spongebobian tunes - he tends to request songs when I practice and has wanted me to learn that hornpipe for a while now. It looks like at least one of his requests will be fulfilled.

Anyone know why this ABC code isn’t working on concertina.net’s translator:

T: Mr Krabs Theme
K:D
R:Hornpipe
M:2/4
L:1/16
| (3d2c2=c2 || B3G D3G | B3G d3B | (3g2f2g2 (3a2g2f2 | g3d B3G| ( F3E) F3G |
A3B (3=c2B2A2 | d3c d3e | f3d =c3A | | B3G D3G | B3G d3B | (3g2f2g
2 (3a2g2f2 | g3d B3G | (3A2B2=c2 A3F | D3E F3G | A3G G3F | G4 (3d2c2=c
2 :expressionless:

Vaporlock posted in on the linke thread, but I’m not conversant enough in ABC to figure out why it’s not translating

Thanks!

The opening credits are just a modified “blow the man down” if that helps.
