heh, now I know after recent events that this may seem a little cheeky, but since no one on ebay is interested in these pipes, I guess I’m going to have to find a potential buyer here.
Just incase there’s no misunderstanding, I will give a FULL description of the item.
These pipes are a Ray Sloan standard half set Uilleann pipe in D. These pipes have recently been refurbished by Ray himself so it is a fully functionable set. I am in the process of getting a new reed for the chanter so no rubbish or ‘lazy man’ reeds will be supplied with the set . However, someone (I don’t know who) has scored the holes on the chanter. Although to some it may not look that ‘pleasing’, but it doesn’t in anyway affect the sound or tuning of the chanter, I have played on this set before I sent it to Ray so I can confirm they are a wonderful set to play on
I will inform asap when I have new reeds for the set that sound GOOD.
