A friend of mine (not on the board) is wanting to know if there is anything going on sesh-wise in these towns.

Contact Philippe Varlet. I believe he still runs a session at Ri-Ra’s in Silver Spring. The D.C. session scene seems to fluctuate. I go down twice a year, and the sessions move around. Or ask Mark Hillmann, who posts on the uilleann pipes board.
The RiRa session is no more. There are still sessions here Sundays, Tuesdays, certain Wednesdays, and the (very) odd Saturday morning.
