sessions in MD?

sessions in maryland? where are they?? I’m a newbie whistler/experienced guitarist (dont worry I understand ITM rythm and not being the session “jamming” as$) who probably wont even play his first time going I just want to find out what sessions are out there so I can go and find out what tunes they play. If any one from here is in MD a post of common tunes would be soo helpful as I’m trying to have the tunes down before I go to a session if possible

J. Patrick’s in Baltimore hosts multiple sessions each week. On Monday, Donna Long hosts a slow/intermediate session, and there is a Tuesday session hosted by Laura Byrne Egan and Pat Egan and Peter Fitzgerald hosts one one Thursday (all at J. Patricks).

Cafe Hon in Baltimore hosts a weekly session as well - hosted by a nice flute player whose name I’m not positive of (Dan maybe?).

DC has several sessions as well.

Due to space limitations, this isn’t really an open session as such. Do go and listen, though.

Great scene. Hosted by local legends Patrick Cavanaugh and Doc Botzer.

As Yogi Berra said, “Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.”

Kevin have you been out to RiRa and I’ve just missed you? You should come by since you’re in the 'hood.
